Terms and Conditions
Introduction
The following are comprehensive general terms and conditions for students applying to Oxford School of Business, all these terms and conditions will be sent to the student with an offer letter.
1. These terms and conditions along with the offer letter, learning agreement and student handbook represent the entire agreement with the parties and shall supersede any and all promises, warranties, other statements, representation, whether oral or written, made by or on behalf of any party acting on behalf of the college (Oxford School of Business) of any nature whatsoever or represented on any leaflet, brochure or any document provided by one party to the student.
2. The purpose of these terms and conditions is to provide a guidance and clarity to the student’s personal liability to uphold the tuition fees. In case the student is suspended, discontinued or withdrawn from their studies for whatever reason after the initial enrolment process has been completed. It will also cover all financial matters.
Definitions:
For the purposes of these terms:
We and Us means Stonehenge QA T/A Oxford School of Business who will provide the service to you, you mean the student receiving the services, course means an online distance-learning course or face-to-face course or blended learning course, study materials means the materials relating to any one course, together with all revisions and updates made by us, which may be in any format and which are required by the student to complete the course.
Academic standards
1.1. Each term, students will be assessed by their tutor and/or vice principal.
1.2. Students will be given an internal English test before commencing with the course.
1.3. Students could be prevented from completing their course if they fall too short of the milestones requested by the College with respect to:
a.) Standard of coursework
b.) Participation of the online program enrolled into
c.) Assessment submission
Cancellation of Course
Your statutory right under the consumer protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 allows you 14 days, from the day after your enrolment on a course, in which to make a written request for cancellation. And upon cancellation of the course within 14 days time, a sum of minimum £250 fee will be charged against administration charges. After the 14 days have elapsed we cannot accept any course cancellation under any circumstances and all the fees are payable. There will be no right to cancellation if the student has accessed to the online learning portal. The student must not log on to the online learning portal if he/she wants to cancel the course and wishes to get a refund. Refunds of Deposits will be made only if you provide notice, in writing, 14 days prior to the starting date of the course, that you are unable to start the course. No refund of deposit or instalment payments will be made if the student withdraws later than this. Outstanding fees must be paid in full.
Fee Payments
Study Fees must be paid according to the payments schedule agreed when you enrol with us. Please note that this also applies during informal or formally arranged interruptions to your studies. When payment has been agreed by way of an instalment plan, you agree to make the required payment on the dates agreed from the outset. In the event of a payment not being received, you agree to pay the sum due within 24 hours of the due date or a £20 daily administration fee will be applied until the requested amount is cleared. Interest will be charged on late payments under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998. Should your payment not be received within 7 days from the due date, then you will be in breach of contract and the full amount owing for the course will become due for immediate payment.
If necessary, a Debt Recovery Agency will be appointed to recover outstanding payments. The Debt Recovery Agency will apply further costs for the collection of the amount owing. Once your account has been passed to a Debt Recovery Agency, you will deal exclusively with the Agency. Once you have been passed to a Debt Recovery Agency, you will not be able to re-enrol on any of our courses. Students, who withdraw after they have officially started the course, or are formally withdrawn from the course by the college, will be required to pay all outstanding fees for the course. To avoid any doubt, you have entered into a legally binding contract to pay the course fees in full and any additional fees where appropriate.
Refunds
1.1. Any refunds or withdrawals made within “Cooling Off” period (From the date of accepting the unconditional offer and making deposit payments) of 14 days only in accordance with the T&C of the College.
1.2. If refund is requested within the Cooling Off period, students will be entitled to a full refund minus their application fee.
1.3. If the course has begun, after the 14 days Cooling Off period, the cost of tuition for that term is non-refundable and a full terms notice is required. If you would like to request a refund or a withdrawal, then a withdrawal request must be submitted to the Admissions dept via e-mail. Failure to provide a written cancellation to the Admissions dept, students will incur the full fee applicable.
1.4. In the case of a student’s refund, an Admissions charge of £250 will apply. For other refunds requested, reductions may occur. All requests for refunds must be in written format and the following rules will apply;
1.4.1 More than 12 weeks before the start date of course, no fee applicable.
1.4.2.10 weeks before the course start date, £100 Admissions fee will apply.
1.4.3 8 weeks before the course start date, 50% of full tuition fee will apply.
1.4.4 1 week before the course starts, full application and tuition fee will apply
1.5. If a student fails to comply with the Admissions process needed to enrol or they have started the course and abandoned it before completing, the student’s name will be withdrawn from the class lists. In this case, there will be no refund given to the student, he or she will be withdrawn from the course and the awarding body. The college will deem the student as abandoning the course if the student’s attendance is below 80%.
1.6. This policy may be changed from time to time in line of Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), Customer Contract Regulations (CCR), Customer Right Act 2015 (CRA), Office of Independent Adjudicator (OIA) rules, and Competition and Marketing Authority (CMA). All students will be notified of any changes related to refunds and course costs.
Postal and Courier Charges
Postal and Courier charges are included in the study fee and paid for by us when sending certificates. However, please note that if certificates are returned to us, due to you providing an incorrect or inadequate address or certificates are not being picked up from a notified collection point, or you changing address during the delivery period, you will be charged for the cost of re-sending the certificate.
Interruption of Studies
During the course, you may experience personal difficulties and can temporarily stop or delay your studies, for a period of up to 3 months, agreed with your tutor or directly with Student Services. An Interruption to Studies form must be completed to formalise this arrangement. Please note that retrospective approval for a formal interruption of studies will not be allowed. If you fail to restart your studies after a period of 2 months you will be deemed to have left the course. A maximum of 3 months interruption of studies can be taken during the period of the course. You can only apply for an interruption of studies after 3 months from your official course start date. During any informal or formally arranged Interruption of Studies, instalment payments must continue to be paid, as agreed at the start of the course.
Applications and payments
1.1. Enrolment and application fees
1.1.1. When a student is accepted, students will be provided with an unconditional offer. All of our programs are 100% studied online so no Visa is required for enrolment.
1.1.2. If an offence has been found of a student providing false information and/or on records part of the application or enrolment process. In any case wherever there is false information/records that a student has provided on their application then their application will be classified as VOID and all/any fees that have been paid to the college will be retained by the college. Depending on the magnitude of false information provided, the College may report you to the local authorities.
1.1.3. All tuition fees including registration fees are not non-transferable between individuals.
Tuition fees and other charges
1.1. Other charges
1.1.1. Students should bear in mind that the course is delivered 100% online therefore students should make provisions for buying textbooks, printing materials and registration or resits of modules.
Course deferment
1.1. When a student requires to defer after pre-registration of the 1st term, this will be free.
1.2. A second deferment request will be chargeable at £500.
1.3. A 3rd deferral request will be chargeable at £2500.
1.4. There is a maximum of defers that a student is permitted per course of 3 deferrals.
1.5. Oxford School of Business has a right to refuse or defer a student if a place isn’t available in their selected course or module for the specific term.
1.6. If the College decides to defer a student, there will be no charge on behalf of the student.
1.7. A deferral will not be entertained unless a written confirmation in e-mail sent to the College and confirmed by the College.
Paying of fees
2.1. Students will be able to make direct payments through our direct portal once they have been provided with an unconditional offer and a course code which is provided by the College on acceptance of the unconditional offer provided.
2.2. The College accepts all major credit and debit card, regionally and internationally but no acceptance of American Express and Diner’s Card, we also accept payment through the phone, all payments made with credit card will be charged 4% and 5% for all international and debit cards, above the amount of the course costs.
2.3. Please be safe while making any payments insuring that you as the Student are accessing the correct URL (www.oxfordschoolofbusiness.co.uk).
2.4. Students can make payments directly into Oxford School of Business bank account, please find our bank details below:. Please make sure that all payments clearly correspond with the invoice number and student name.
2.5. There are circumstances where the Student has been in touch with a nominated brand advocate/agent for advice or support. In this instance, we advise strongly that the Student does not PAY any fees directly to the brand advocate, agent or any 3rd party acting on the behalf of the College, if the student makes any payment to a 3rd party acting on behalf of the College for their tuition fees, the College will not be liable for any payments to this 3rd party or bank account other than mentioned below.
2.6. On any payments, please ensure you as the Student sends us an e-mail proof of payment and mention invoice number as payment reference to accounts@oxfordschoolofbusiness.co.uk
Bank account
2.7.1. (Bank account details)
2.7.2. The College also accepts cash, cheque, and bank transfers for payment of course fees.
2.7.3. The Sender will be responsible for all commissions and bank charges that occur on transferring the funds to the College.
2.7.4. Unless they have been given a written notice to the contrary.
2.7.5. All fees must be paid to the College, the College bears no responsibilities to any payments towards 3rd party in regards of the Student’s program.
Assignment Submission Deadlines
All students must submit their assignments according to the deadlines on the time table, emailed at the start of the course. A student can apply for extensions on their assignment submission deadlines. When students are granted an extension, this does not affect future assignment deadlines. Extensions must be given officially by Student Services.
Scholarships
The College will have the discretion to offer up a scholarship to all students that reside in a 3rd world country or at the discretion of the College.
Plagiarism
If you are found guilty of plagiarism, submitting coursework which is not your own work, you will be removed from the course. Fees already paid will not be refunded, and any outstanding fees will remain due for payment.
Grounds for termination and exclusion
1.1. All students must abide by the rules that are set out by the College within these terms and conditions, the prospectus, student handbook, programme handbook, induction pack and any publicised policies.
1.2. If there are any major breaches of the above policies, the College will inform that the Student will be withdrawn immediately.
1.3. In case a student is permanently or temporarily excluded from the program, the Student remains liable to pay full tuition fees for the remainder of the course.
1.4. Oxford School of Business reserves the right to terminate a student if the following below occur:
a.) A student’s attendance has dropped below 45 mins per two days.
b.) Non-payment of fees.
c.) Abuse language to any staff member of the College.
d.) Plagiarism above 60%
Other Terms
Please note that we can only communicate with the student directly enrolled with Stonehedge QA T/A Oxford School of Business, we cannot communicate with any third party.

Data Protection
This privacy statement applies to any personal data you may give to us. We collect any personal data you may give us when you begin your course. We will also collect contact details from prospective students. We maintain data on your transactions with us as well as your use of our services. Student Behaviour
We will not accept any inappropriate behaviour directed at any member of staff under any circumstances. This includes bad language and threats via email, in writing, over the telephone or in person. Stonehedge QA T/A Oxford School of Business reserves the right to remove the student from their course, with no entitlement to a refund of fees; payment for any outstanding fees will be required in full.
Force Majeure
These terms and conditions stipulate the agreement between the Student and the College or their representatives, neither the College, nor it’s representatives, are liable in the case the College was unable to completely provide the services requested by the Student to which they are contractually bound because of employment/union disputes, natural calamity or other reasons beyond the College’s control.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms & Conditions will not be considered a waiver of those rights. If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms & Conditions will remain in effect.
