Progression breakdown
All of Oxford School of Business academic courses have been approved and regulated by Ofqual and universities will generally accept the credits provided to students from their studies. Students should inform the university that the qualification has been validated by OFQUAL RQF with the aca at the indicated level/credit value. Students can obtain the necessary Ofqual documents and transcripts from Oxford School of Business. Students can also check their qualifications on the Ofqual website, https://register.ofqual.gov.uk/ Each university will evaluate an application on its own merits, taking into account its own special admission requirements.
Students who graduate from Oxford School of Business can enrol in a University program at the Undergraduate entrance level, usually after completing a Level 3 program, or onto a "top-up" degree, depending on the level of their finished Ofqual program. On all of the courses we have available on our website, you can see how these equivalencies work as we explain the differences in the levels and the equivalency in terms of progression. Undergraduate entry is usually at Level 3, followed by a first-year degree at Level 4, a second-year degree at Level 5, a graduate degree at Level 6, and a post-graduate degree at Level 7.
A qualification in a relevant field is required for university top-up courses. The course you choose should be closely related to your previous education or your desired future career goals or aspirations. In most circumstances, IELTS is not necessary to study any of our programs, we will assess your English internally. However, for international students wishing to study university in the United Kingdom, IELTS will be mandatory as a proof of English qualification alongside your equivalent qualifications.
Progression options
Study FULL-TIME or PART-TIME on campus in the UK for top-up courses or direct entry to university
For university progression, most UK-based universities will accept Ofqual-regulated credits. As a result, students can attend their preferred university and study full-time after completing their desired level with us. Some universities provide online study options which can work around your desired career life or structure. Students should be aware that these are only suggestions!
If students wish to apply to university, they should always check the prerequisites with their selected university or a local university agent.
Study overseas in UK-based international campuses
Some UK universities have campuses abroad and may allow local students with advanced entry into their programs, these countries include Dubai, Malta, Canada, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, and Hong Kong, among many others. International students interested in completing their studies in the United Kingdom can seek for equivalencies on the ENIC website to recognise your overseas qualifications at a UK standard.
Study internationally via one of our partners overseas
Students may want to study at institutions closer to home or obtain certifications outside of the United Kingdom. Many Australian and Canadian universities, for example, provide online study and will, on a case-by-case basis, recognise similar UK diplomas. Universities in the United States will generally accept UK advanced entry students and equivalency, but there are significant differences in policy between areas and universities.
